Planning Commission Meeting

The City of White Bear Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 4701 Highway 61, White Bear Lake, Minnesota on Monday, June 29, 2026 beginning at 7:00 p.m. to hear and make a recommendation to the City Council on the following requests:

1. Case No. 26-11-LS & V: The applicant, Chy Nou Lee, is requesting a variance from the 30 foot rear yard setback, per code section 1302.050 in order to split the property at 3850 White Bear Avenue into two lots through a minor subdivision.

2. Case No. 26-13-CUP: The applicant, Josh Thurston, on behalf of Roar Academy, is requesting an amendment to their existing conditional use permit (formerly a special use permit) in order to operate a Pre-K through 8 grade school, per code section 1305.010, at the property located at 1691 Highway 96.  WITHDRAWN BY APPLICANT

3. Case No. 26-15-CUP: The applicant, Don Peltier, on behalf of Remi Development LLC, is requesting a conditional use permit, per code section 1305.010, for outdoor storage at the property located at 4026 Hoffman Road.

Unless continued by the Planning Commission, these items will be heard by the City Council on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. 

The Planning Commission generally meets the last Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
