In addition to the pavilion, Podvin Park offers an informal basketball court, a football field, large lacrosse fields, play equipment and a skateboard park. Restrooms at this location are handicapped accessible and include a drinking fountain.
Pavilion Reservations
The pavilion houses 9 picnic tables and contains a serving room complete with a restaurant-style refrigerator, a mop and bucket wash station and a restroom-sized sink. An interior room is equipped with approximately 80 stacking chairs and 10 - 8 foot rectangular tables. Outside seating capacity holds up to 90 people. Key Access Required for Podvin Park Facility: Keys may be picked up and returned at the Public Safety Building, 4701 Highway 61, with proof of receipt and a picture ID. Staff is readily available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m., or use the Public Safety Building entrance phone to request a key from dispatch. Restrooms are for public use and must remain unlocked during events.
Reserving the pavilion doesn't grant exclusive use of the park grounds. Athletic fields may be in use by local sports groups, which may impact parking availability.
Outdoor Ice Rink
Winter weather permitting, an outdoor recreational ice rink is open to the public.
