IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The City of White Bear Lake no longer requires a city license for the following:
- Commercial General Contractors (Class I)
- Mechanical (Heating, Ventilation & Gas Piping) (Class II) – Mechanical Contractors will need hold a mechanical bond with the State of Minnesota to obtain a mechanical permit
- Tree Trimming
All commercial building projects and mechanical work regulated by code will still require a permit to be issued prior to engaging in work (1300.0120, Subp. 1.). The permit inspection record (and plans, if applicable) are required to be posted at the construction site and visible from the street for the duration of the project (1300.0120, Subp. 13.).
