The City of White Bear Lake intervened in a lawsuit to protect the City’s investments in its public water supply infrastructure. Because these litigation expenses are paid for through the City’s Water Fund, a separate Lake Level Litigation Fee was applied to water bills. In 2021, the litigation fee was fully recovered and the Lake Level Litigation Fee was removed from water utility bills.
