Planning Commission Meeting

The City of White Bear Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 4701 Highway 61, White Bear Lake, Minnesota on Monday, July 27, 2026 beginning at 7:00 p.m. to hear and make a recommendation to the City Council on the following requests:

1. Case No. 26-14-V: The applicant, Chung Dang, requests a variance from the 1,000 square foot maximum allowed size for an accessory structure, per code section 1306.010.2.c.3, in order to retain an 1,800 square foot accessory structure located in the rear of the property at 921 Wildwood Road.

2. Case No. 26-17-CUP: The applicant, White Bear Lake Area Schools, requests a conditional use permit amendment, per code section 1305.060.7, to make improvements to the athletic fields at Mariner Middle school located at 3551 McKnight Road. 

Unless continued by the Planning Commission, these items will be heard by the City Council on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. 

The Planning Commission generally meets the last Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
